Cornwall Psychological Services

Barry Shrem, Ph.D., Assistant Clinical Professor of Psychiatry, Mount Sinai School of Medicine, has opened the Hudson Valley Center for Development at the Cornwall Medical Pavilion at MSLC’s Cornwall campus. Nurturing Social Success: Social Skills for Boys

A Therapeutic Group for 7 – 10 year old boys. Participants will learn to handle frustration, boost cooperation and respect, develop and keep friendships, and improve listening skills. The Young and the Restless: Positive Skills for Teens

A Therapeutic Group for Teens ages 12 and up. Participants will learn to recognize emotions, increase ability to reduce the impact of negative emotions, build coping skills to better handle stress, improve communication skills with peers and adults, and gain control over emotions and impulses. Tween Life: Stresses and Strains
