Montefiore St. Luke’s Cornwall offers patients state of the art urological care utilizing advanced technologies by a team of medical experts. Our surgeons are highly trained in general urology as well as urological cancers, kidney diseases, robotic and laparoscopic surgery, and urinary incontinence and erectile dysfunction. Our trauma surgeons are also part of the MSLC Level III Trauma Center, providing urological trauma surgery as needed.

Urological services at MSLC include:

  • Endourology - The small fiber optic scopes are used to see the lining of the urinary tract from kidney to bladder, and used to treat stones and some tumors.
  • Oncology - Diagnosis and treatment of cancer of the urinary tract of men and women.
  • Laparoscopy - Surgical procedures in which a fiber optic instrument is inserted through a small incision in the abdomen and used to perform surgery of the kidney, ureters, bladder and prostate.
  • Robotically-Assisted Laparoscopy - Performed for prostate, kidney and bladder surgery, using the daVinci® Surgical System.
  • Urinary Tract Infection - Treatment of bacterial infection of the urethra, bladder, ureters or kidneys.
  • Neurology and Female Urology - Treatment of urological conditions that have a neurological origin such as spinal cord injury and disorders of the urinary tract in females such as urinary leakage.
  • Men’s Health - No Scalpel Vasectomy, Low Testosterone, Erectile Dysfunction, and Penile Implant Surgery.
