Education and Engagement
In recent years, Montefiore St. Luke’s Cornwall has been increasing
education and engagement across all areas of Urology care. In early 2016,
the Department of Urology and the marketing team, as well as the Assistant
Vice President of Clinical Practice, developed a comprehensive plan to
introduce more educational offerings to our community.
The team continuously looks for ways to not only increase the number of
educational offerings, but also have a larger impact on those attending
the sessions. These sessions offered an opportunity for the public to
gain comprehensive education on the signs, diagnosis and treatment of
urologic disease. Not only were physical feedback forms provided but there
was also significant discussion with those in attendance about what they
hoped for future engagements.
