How To Apply
Applications to the Montefiore St. Luke’s Cornwall Internal Medicine Residency Program will only be accepted through the Electronic Residency Application Services (ERAS). We do not accept applications in any other format.

Program Signaling for the 2026–2027 Internal Medicine Residency Recruitment Cycle
The Montefiore St. Luke’s Cornwall (MSLC) Internal Medicine Residency program participates in the Internal Medicine Program Signaling initiative and values the opportunity for applicants to express their interest in our residency program through Gold and Silver signals.
As part of a holistic application review process, the majority of interview invitations are extended to applicants who have signaled the program. Our Recruitment Committee carefully reviews all applications received from applicants who signal our program, considering a broad range of factors including academic performance, clinical experiences, personal attributes, leadership, service, research, and alignment with our program's mission and values.
While signaling MSLC’s program indicates an applicant's interest and increases the likelihood that their application will receive focused review, submission of a Gold or Silver signal does not guarantee an interview invitation. Interview decisions are based on a comprehensive assessment of each applicant's qualifications and overall fit with the Montefiore St. Luke’s Cornwall residency program.
Applicants who do not signal Montefiore St. Luke’s Cornwall’s program may still be considered; however, due to the volume of applications received, signals play an important role in the interview selection process.
At MSLC, we encourage applicants to use their signals thoughtfully and to learn more about our program to determine whether it aligns with their professional goals and training needs.
