Curriculum

Our program follows a 4+2 rotation model, where each four-week inpatient block (such as floors, ICU, or electives) is followed by a two-week outpatient or elective rotation. During the +2 ambulatory block, residents rotate through continuity and specialty clinics.

The continuity clinic offers residents a valuable opportunity to manage a panel of patients over time, fostering long-term physician-patient relationships that are central to the rewarding experience of primary care. Meanwhile, the specialty clinic rotations provide focused exposure to common internal medicine subspecialties in an outpatient setting.

We recently expanded our Internal Medicine residency program from 39 to 60 residents. Our curriculum is continually evolving to accommodate this growth and ensure the highest quality of training.
