How To Apply

Applications to the Montefiore St. Luke’s Cornwall Internal Medicine Residency Program will only be accepted through the Electronic Residency Application Services (ERAS). We do not accept applications in any other format.

The program discourages applicants from expressing interest via email or phone. Instead, applicants are encouraged to use the formal signaling process to communicate their interest in the program.

The application deadline is December 15.

Recruit and sign contracts with top candidates for the Class of 2029 by December 31, 2025.

PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS FOR U.S. MEDICAL GRADUATES

• ERAS Application

• Curriculum Vitae

• Dean’s Letter

• Personal Statement

• Photograph (optional but preferred)

• Medical School Transcripts

• Three Letters of Recommendation

• USMLE or COMLEX Transcripts (Step 1 and Step 2 CS/CK or equivalent)

PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS FOR INTERNATIONAL MEDICAL GRADUATES:

All of the above requirements
ECFMG Certificate
Recent US clinical experience is preferred
Recent graduate of medical school (preferred within the past 5 years)

Interview Process

Applications must be completed by December 15. Early applications are strongly recommended

The program accepts J1 visas.
