SLCH Hosts 5th Annual Karaoke and Cocktails Benefit

Newburgh, NY - St. Luke's Cornwall Hospital (SLCH) hosted their 5th annual Karaoke and Cocktails Dance Party "friend-raiser" on April 25 at Torches on the Hudson in Newburgh. In attendance were Karaoke and Cocktails committee members, SLCH employees, CEO, President, Physicians and community leaders.

"The outpouring of 'SLCH friends' was incredible!," said Renay Bevins, Chair of the Karaoke and Cocktails Committee and SLCH Auxiliary Board member. "The over 200 attendees were instrumental in raising over $16,000 to benefit the Hospital and was everything we could have hoped for. Many thanks are sent to all those wonderful folks."

While guests sang to their favorite songs and classic hits, others bid on silent auction items with packages valued from $800 to over $6,000 dollars. Silent auction tables included Gourmet Delight, You're a Sport, It's a Guy Thing, Family Time, Taste of Tuscany, and Escape, Relax, Restore. Proceeds also benefitted the SLCH Auxiliary.

The SLCH Auxiliary is composed of volunteers who serve as hospital ambassadors and advocates, supporting the St. Luke's Cornwall Health System Foundation's fundraising efforts and leading service projects that benefit our community.
