Orthopedics & Joint Patient

“ 1947: Born at St. Luke's Cornwall Hospital 2014: Hip reborn at St. Luke's Cornwall Hospital ”

Bob
Bob Hatfield and St. Luke's Cornwall Hospital are literally joined at the hip. A very well-known and successful member of the Orange County community, Bob underwent hip replacement surgery at the SLCH Center for Joint Replacement. The care he received as a total joint replacement patient was just the latest event in a life-long relationship between the Hatfield family and St. Luke's Cornwall Hospital. Both Bob and his wife, Barbara, were born at St. Luke's. Their children were delivered at the same hospital. And their children's children were born there as well. A devoted family man, enjoying his children and grandchildren became harder with the pain in his hip. With many options for care at his disposal, Bob once again trusted the hospital that had taken care of him and his family so many times before. Just knowing that his family could come and easily visit him meant everything. Now, thanks to Dr. McLaughlin, who performed the surgery, and the staff of the Center for Joint Replacement, Bob is once again back to his active lifestyle. Which now includes keeping up with his grandchildren.
