Montefiore St. Luke’s Cornwall Names Susanne Steele April Employee of the Month
Newburgh, NY: Montefiore St. Luke’s Cornwall (MSLC) is proud to recognize Susanne Steele, Healthcare Coordinator, as its April Employee of the Month.
A valued member of the MSLC team since 2012, Steele began her career in the Medical Group as a Medical Assistant and most recently joined the Patient Navigation Team. Throughout her tenure, she has demonstrated an unwavering commitment to patient-centered care and service excellence.
Steele is widely recognized for her warmth, compassion, and dedication to going above and beyond for her patients. She works diligently to ensure that patients and their families not only receive the care they need but also feel supported throughout their healthcare journey. Her impact is lasting, with many patients continue to stay in touch to express their gratitude for her care and support.
Her colleagues describe her as a collaborative and innovative team member who is always willing to help, think creatively, and embrace new ideas that enhance patient care and expand community outreach. Known for her solutions-oriented approach, Steele is a trusted resource who consistently helps remove barriers to care and supports her colleagues in delivering the highest quality service.

As Employee of the Month, Steele received a commemorative plaque, meal vouchers, coffee coupons, and a $100 Visa gift card generously donated by the Foundation. She will also be eligible for the 2026 Employee of the Year Award, to be announced at MSLC’s annual Employee Holiday Party in December.
