Newburgh, NY - St. Luke’s Cornwall Hospital’s (SLCH) Mr. Cletis Earle, Vice President/Chief Information Officer, participated in an on air radio talk show this Thursday, May 9, to discuss the latest mobile health and technology. SLCH prides itself on being technologically cutting-edge in all areas, from creating an internal website solely for employee use, implementing digital signage to relay news throughout both hospital campuses, along with medical excellence such as the da vinci Robotic Surgery for certain cancers and the hospital’s Center for Cardiac Care, offering the most advanced, integrated cardiac care in the region.

Happtique empowers healthcare providers to prescribe mobile health applications and engage patients to take an active role in the monitoring and management of their personal health. With the creation of their voluntary Health App Certification Program, consumers are able to access a list containing Happtique certified applications all related to medical, health, and fitness content.

Each radio show reaches an average listener base of over 25,000 people, informing them on the latest mobile health and technology information that is out there. Happtique focuses on engaging patients to take active roles in the monitoring and management of their personal health.

SLCH’s own, Mr. Earle, discussed his roles and responsibilities at SLCH, the IT infrastructure at SLCH, advice to those developing solutions for other hospitals and health systems, as well as what he foresees in the future of IT at SLCH.
